As a young girl Ms. McCabe thought that the Miss Universe pageant should have more to do with space. Taking wearable art was the first time she’d taken an art class, and her dress “Redshift” was the first dress she’d ever made. The dress is based on the Doppler effect and how because of it, we know that the universe is expanding.
