Salman Dress
Ms. Savitt took Wearable Art this year for the first time and was inspired to make this dress by a joke someone in her family made about putting Salman Rushdie’s face on a piece of clothing. She hopes to maybe put Steve Buscemi’s face on a dress sometime soon (speaking of faces on dresses).

Bio:
Becky Savitt is from Wellesley Massachusetts and is currently a senior at the Cambridge School of Weston. She will be attending Washington University in St. Louis in January (weird, right?) but will start classes over the summer (don’t worry about it). She will study fashion design (appropriate for this venue) but is not sure about how many more Salman Rushdie dresses she will make (probably none).
